Brighstone bean

Lovely blue-speckled pinto bean with flavor between kidney and pinto. Heirloom variety from an 1800s shipwreck on the Isle of Wight. The Adaptive Seed farmers obtained this seed from the Heritage Seed Library in England - it was rescued from extinction by Seed Guardian Fred Arnold. Grows well here in western Oregon. Grown using organic practices.
